The upcoming membership meeting of the Collegiate Peaks Chapter of Trout Unlimited will be held in the meeting room at Sangre De Cristo Electric Association, located at 29780 North US Highway 24, Buena Vista on Wednesday, March 13th from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. The meeting is free and open to the public. This month’s program will begin at 7:00 pm and feature Connor Murphy with his presentation titled “ Fly Fishing the Chosen River: Western Alaska and the Pacific Salmonid Ecosystem.” Connor has been an avid fly fisherman and trout enthusiast for most of his life. For the last 15 years,
Connor has traveled the country as an exhibition fly tier in addition to competing extensively in both fly fishing and fly-casting. He graduated from Colorado State University in 2017 and has been a familiar face around St. Peters Fly Shop in Fort Collins for much of the last decade, either in the shop, teaching classes or guiding locally.
