Collegiate Peaks Eyecare will be closed for routine eye exams indefinitely. This is a recommendation from the CDC at this point. Under normal circumstances, these appointments are important, but currently not worth risking exposure for annual exams. We will continue monitoring the situation as it progresses, and will be in touch with patients as things progress to confirm or reschedule their appointments.
HOWEVER, we are OPEN for emergent care. If you have symptoms of an eye infection, sudden vision loss, flashes of light, floaters, swelling, irritation, or anything that may happen with your eyes including abnormal blurred vision, please call our office. We will be happy to see you, and we are implementing precautions to limit the number of people in our building at one time in order to keep everyone safe. Also, Dr. Scott may be able to look at pictures, FaceTime, or offer video tele-health calls. It is important to keep eye-related emergencies out of the local emergency rooms and urgent care clinics.
We are available on a case-by-case basis for glasses and contact lens dispensing, but are happy to mail your orders at no charge. If you do choose to pick up in person, we ask that you call us when you arrive and we will bring your items out to the car.
Thank you for your patience as this is a new experience for all of us. Just remember, we are always available by phone to help. 719-581-4060. Be well!
