East Main Street
Whether it’s a warm summer day or fresh winter afternoon, spending a day discovering Buena Vista through shopping is a delightful way to experience Colorado. Buena Vista holds a range of historic buildings with novel shops and retailers that you’ll love exploring.
Head to downtown Buena Vista and park on East Main Street to enjoy gift shops such as Rustic Woods, and explore local outdoor stores such as CKS Main Street that offer a range of gear, apparel and rentals for both summer and winter activities. You could also visit art galleries such as Mt Antero Treasures, CO Creative and Rock Run to survey local artwork and purchase unique jewelry, sculpture, paintings, photography and more. Downtown also offers items for your pup at the Gone to the Dogs store. The rarity of items at Sundog Antiques on Main Street are well worth seeing.
The boutiques and shops in South Main offer a new flare to Buena Vista and are fun to tour. To get there, turn right at the end of East Main Street and you’ll enter the South Main section of town.
After a full day of shopping and sightseeing, satisfy your appetite with a delicious dinner at one of our local restaurants.
