We Need You! The Buena Vista Chamber of Commerce plans, organizes, and successfully manages numerous events. It’s a big task and we couldn’t do it without our amazing volunteers. Our annual events are : The Business Expo / Trade Show, BV GeoCaching Journey, July 4th Celebration, Gold Rush Days, The Historic ATV Color Tour, the Chamber Gala, Christmas Card Lane and Christmas Opening The Chamber believes these events are important and provide value to our members. In addition to promoting the town, bringing visitors in, and increasing traffic to local business, these events have become a valued tradition, they reflect what makes Buena Vista so special…it’s welcoming, small town charm.
We need volunteers to help with all these events. Do you have a special skill or is there something you like to do? We have volunteer opportunities for every interest including: putting up signs, being on a Gold Rush Days committee, writing a blog or article, coordinating vendors at events, directing traffic at the parade, checking the geocaches, and helping us get the word out. We are always looking for unique, quality photos and we’ll be sure to give you credit. Have another idea, give us a call or stop in, we’d love to talk with you.
