BV street constructionProject Update for the Week of March 14, 2017:

STAY INFORMED: This is for the US 24 Buena Vista Project
Project Update for the week of March 15, 2017
As of early March, the project is an estimated 35% complete. Work progress is expected to accelerate in the near-term due to favorable weather conditions. Current work includes the completion of new storm sewer inlets neat the City Market, and is designed to reduce flooding in the parking lot and along the street. Other operations include the installation of new curbs and gutters, along with patching on US 24. The construction team is on schedule to begin building the median islands for pedestrian crossings by mid-April.
Paving operations are expected to begin in the same time frame. Curb and gutter installation on the east side of US 24 (between Mill Street and Crossman Avenue) is expected to wrap up in the next few weeks. Completion of the main business corridor along US 24 remains on schedule for the end of June.
