Full Circle Restorative Justice will offer its twice-annual Restorative Justice Facilitator Certification Course, March 9-11, 2018, at the Poncha Springs Town Hall Building, Address: 330 Burnett Ave, Poncha Springs, CO 81242.

This training and certification is FREE to Chaffee and Fremont County Residents interested in volunteering as Community Members in Victim-Offender Dialogues. Participants can also continue their training beyond this initial course with FCRJ to become Co-Facilitators and Leads. In addition, Therapy Dog Teams are encouraged to take this training if there is interest in joining as a handler/dog team. Therapy Dog teams add a unique and powerful element to Victim-Offender dialogues.

In this training the participant will receive a significant overview of the history and principles of restorative justice, including the particulars regarding Colorado and the values of upholding Victims Rights, Offender Accountability, and Community Safety. Skills and practices that can be
applied not only to a program working with Courts, Schools, and otherwise will be reviewed and put into practice in mock per-conferences and circle processes, where participants will play out typical scenarios and come away with an understanding of what a restorative justice process is
from intake to closure. Please visit the website for more information and to register, at  Email us at or call 719-530-5597.
