Vino Salida becomes a premier Colorado Wine destination with new award winning wines
Vino Salida Wine Cellars is proud to announce another successful year of participation in commercial wine competitions. Wines including Vino Rosso di Salida, Tenderfoot Stomp Merlot and Semi-Sweet BeeVino Mead were selected as winners at the 2017 Colorado Governor’s Cup and the Colorado State Fair. The Governor’s Cup features Colorado wineries and the Colorado State Fair allows for wines from around the world. Vino Salida wines have been awarded for 5 years in a row at the Governor’s Cup, 3 years at the Colorado State Fair. Producing high quality Colorado Wine has been a pillar for growth in our new Poncha Springs location. Coupled with breathtaking views and warm, friendly service in the tasting room, Vino Salida is now a premier Colorado Wine destination.
Vino Salida wines are produced by Steve Flynn in the Heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Grapes are sourced in Colorado from the Grand Valley AVA in Palisade and the West Elks AVA in Paonia. Meads are produced from local honey provided by fourth generation beekeeper, Jamie Johnston, owner of the Beekeepers Honey Boutique. In the cellar, Steve focuses on crafting the best wines and mead, all tasting unique and purely Coloradan. Visit the tasting room or website for a full list of our award winning wines.
